Named after one of New Zealand’s most picturesque beach settings where the naturally formed archways emulate the interior of a Cathedral, this range of wine comes from an area just as tranquil. The grapes are selected from the eastern side of the north island where the peaceful and quiet atmosphere makes up one of New Zealand’s most respected wine growing regions.

The grapes for this wine were harvested in our Marlborough vineyard and transported to a contract facility for dejuicing and settling. The clear juice was transported by road tanker to our Katikati winery, where it was fermented in stainless steel tanks at around 12°C using AC and QA23 yeast strains. Following fermentation the wine was blended, protein stabilized, cold stabilized and fined. The finished wine was bottled in May 2020.
