NV Hawkes Bay Pinot Gris

The old mill depicted on the Mill Road label was established in the 1870’s near the banks of the Ngaruroro River. Situated just ten kilometers north of Te Mata Peak, Mill Road captures the essence of Hawke’s Bay. Famous for warm sunny days and clean fresh air the grapes are large and succulent, making for a delicious wine range.

Wine Review

Vineyards and Winemaking

The grapes for this wine were sourced from three of our Hawke’s Bay vineyards – Riverview, Kinross and Campbell’s Brook. The grapes were transported to our Riverview winery where they were pressed to stainless steel tanks and fermented using a range of yeasts. The resulting wines were transported by road tanker to our Katikati winery for blending, finishing and bottling.
