Inspired by the neighbouring Pacific Islands, this wine range compliments the abundance of fresh fruit and fish the islands are famous for.
The label features a Nikau Palm which is endemic to New Zealand.
This wine exhibits a lightly floral nose with aromas of pear and lanolin. The palate shows a gentle sweetness, soft acidity and clean pear flavours.
The grapes for this wine come from three of our Hawke’s Bay vineyards - Tantallon, Riverview, Campbell’s Brook.
The grapes for this wine were transported to our Riverview winery where they were pressed to stainless steel tanks and fermented using a range of yeasts. The resulting wines were transported by road tanker to our Katikati winery for blending, fining and finishing. The wine was bottled in May 2020.
