These wines are expertly crafted from fruit harvested from our own vineyards, situated in prime locations in both Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough. Both regions are renown for producing award winning varietal because of the optimal climate in which the vines are grown to produce distinctive New Zealand wines.

Tasting Notes

Tropical fruits to the fore, passionfruit, pineapple and hints of fejoa. The palate is clean and balanced with a seamless balance of acidity and sweetness. Tropical fruit flavours with a spine of minerality carry in a long and delicious finish.

Wine Review

Vineyards and Winemaking

This wine is from grapes grown in our Kuranui vineyard in Marlborough.
The grapes for this wine were harvested in our Marlborough vineyard andtransported to a contract facility for dejuicing and settling. The clear juicewas transported by road tanker to our Katikati winery where it was fermented in stainless steel tanks at around 12°C using X5 and EC118 yeast strains. Following fermentation the wine was blended, protein stabilized, cold stabilized and fined. The finished wine was bottled in January 2019.
