Mansfield & Marsh Methode Traditionnelle

Mansfield and Marsh

Mansfield and Marsh is inspired by the great literary authors Katherine Mansfield and Ngaio Marsh. The brand celebrates New Zealand heritage and artistry, whilst keeping true to its craft of Traditional French Champagne making techniques. Lees aging for a minimum of 12 months, it is an exquisite blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The grapes have been carefully selected by the winemakers from our Hawkes Bay Vineyards and masterfully crafted into a phenomenal Méthode Traditionelle.

This is a delicate Méthode Traditionnelle with a steady bead featuring well composed aromas of stone fruit and biscuit, mealy flavours from the aging on lees. The palate is fresh and lively exhibiting classic stone-fruit flavours, complexed by yeast aromas. A hint of sweetness is balanced by a crisp acidity to give a drying finish. Enjoy this sparkling wine with seafood, light summer meals or cheese and fruit. Best served chilled and in good company.

You get a big bang for your buck with this bubbly. It’s got an intense bready character and weight that’s a rare find at this price point, backed by bright fresh apple and lemon fruit.
