Is there a minimum order amount?

There is no minimum order amount. We offer FREE delivery on orders over $200.

What is the delivery cost?

Delivery charges are dependent upon the location of the order recipient and the size of the order.

For orders under $200:
Freight for North Island orders is charged at $8
Freight for South Island orders is charged at $15

There is a surcharge for rural delivery of $8 per 12 bottles for North Island and $10 per 12 bottles for South Island.

For orders over $200 freight charges will be free, however rural delivery surcharges will still apply.

If you are collecting your wine from the Winery there is no delivery or freight charge added to your order (please just specify this when it comes time to checkout).

Can I cancel or change my order?

Once an order has been received by our warehouse the order cannot be changed or cancelled. If you do wish to cancel or change your order, please contact cellardoor@wineportfolio.co.nz as soon as possible. We will update you on the status of the order and whether your request to cancel or change the order is possible.

How quickly will I get my wine?

Delivery can be expected within four working days of receipt of the order, please allow a few extra days for rural deliveries.

What days are deliveries made?

Deliveries on week days Monday to Friday.

What happens if I’m not in when the wine is delivered?

If you are not at home when your delivery arrives and do not give specific delivery instructions, the driver will leave a card indicating that they were unable to deliver your parcel. They will leave details on how to go about receiving your missed order.

Who can sign for the wine?

Goods must be signed for on delivery by a person 18 years of age or over.

My wine is damaged, what should I do?

All of the goods purchased through The Wine Portfolio Ltd are insured up to the point of delivery. If products are broken, damaged or go missing in transit we will offer you a replacement or a refund, provided the following procedure has been followed and you let us know within 48 hours of delivery. If bottles are broken or damaged in transit, the damaged goods must be returned to us. Shipping costs for the damaged portion of the delivery back to us is at our expense – customers must contact us to arrange the return shipping.

I think my wine is corked or tainted, what should I do?

If you are disappointed with the wine or think the quality has been comprised, we will offer you a replacement or refund. Please let us know within 30 days of your purchase.

Can I collect my order?

You can collect your order at the Katikati Winery. Please specify this option at Check Out. There is no delivery or freight charge added to your order in you choose to click and collect.
