Leveret Estate Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2025

From $21.99

The Leveret brand is a descendant of the award-winning Coniglio range. The word “leveret” means young hare, three of which can be found dancing on the bottle’s label. The ears of the hares connect creating a triangular symbol that was used by the tin merchants of Devon, traders on the Silk Road.

With it’s own sense of history, and coming from an up-standing family, we’re excited to present a premium and reserve option for the Leveret brand.

Passionfruit, lime and citrus blossom aromas. Crisp acidity drives a juicy palate, finishing semi-dry with a hint of minerality.

Wine Review

A ripe and fleshy fruited bouquet with scents of cape gooseberry and peach with a layer of mineral stony, clay and fine lees. A just dry wine on the palate with a juicy and fleshy palate, flavours of apple and passionfruit, some white peach and plenty of citrus. Well made and quite delicious, best drinking from day of purchase through 2027+.

Vineyards and Winemaking

The grapes for this wine were harvested in our Kuranui vineyard in the Awatere Valley, Marlborough. The juice was transported by road tanker to our Katikati winery where it was fermented in stainless steel tanks at around 14°C using ES181 yeast strain. Following fermentation, the wine was protein stabilized, cold stabilized, blended and filtered. The wine was bottled in June 2025.
