Wine Review

This is a light, zingy sauvignon blanc with light-weight flavours of classic gooseberry and cut grass. A sliver of sweetness on the off-dry finish adds a bit of length to the otherwise grainy, herbal palate.

Stephen Wong, The Real Review

A wine that over delivers for the price, aromas and flavours of fresh pomaceous fruits framed by citrus and tropical fruit flavours. Mango and pineapple, apple and grapefruit. A classic herb quality of basil and a touch of sage is noted adding depth and style. Fresh, crips, crunchy and salivating with best drinking from day of purchase through 2027+.

Food Pairings

Immensely enjoyable on its own, it is also matches beautifully with a Pasta Primavera or Goat cheese.

Vineyards and Winemaking

The grapes for this delicious Sauvignon Blanc were grown in the highly acclaimed Awatere Valley region of Marlborough. With a lead in of an extended summer dry period, March provided the ultimate growing conditions with warm days and cool nights, enabling the fruit to have enhanced flavours while retaining acid. 2025 produced clean, healthy, flavoursome fruit. The fruit for this wine was harvested from 1st April - 10th April 2025 in immaculate condition and balance.

Fermentation was initiated with specially selected Sauvignon Blanc yeast and proceeded in a slow controlled manner to preserve both the varietal fruitiness and its aromatic intensity. With balanced sweetness and acidity, this Vegan friendly wine was lightly fined and filtered, prior to bottling.
